For particularly demanding applications where high initial and final forces are required, our double-stroke gas springs are the optimal choice. They consist of two differently filled pressure tubes and thus offer two force ranges that are perfectly matched to the force requirements of the hatch. Available in steel and stainless steel (V2A and V4A), these springs enable easy manual operation of even heavy hatches up to 800 kg with a wide opening angle.
When the piston rod is retracted, a characteristic bent curve is created that can be optimally adapted to the force requirement of the hatch. To do this, we calculate the force ranges precisely, coordinate them with each other, and thus adapt them to the required kinematics.
